driving in space

Wendy and the kids and l got into Seattle today. I am writing this on my Palm using the hotel's free wifi.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that we rented a Prius, and while I have only driven it about fifty feet so far, it is like Driving in Space!

Drawing Caricatures In Dublin...

From a John O'Connor's 70th Birthday party in Dublin on Saturday...He brought up one of his daughters to be the first drawn. Yep, that's Sinead O'Connor ! I tried to keep cool, but the surreality of the situation had me giggling like a little girl.



I'm happy to report that she got a laugh out of her caricature and was nice about letting me have a photo with her. Plus, she can still melt hearts with her voice!

happy birthday Graham!

He is one year old today! We went to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and had ice cream cake (made by Grandma Jane) and opened presents. It's been a busy day and I haven't uploaded any pictures yet. Maybe I can get some up tomorrow.

But here are a couple:

Update: I should add that Elias help decorate the cake by placing the letters, which is the reason for the interesting orientation of some of them. Also, the final "I" is not an "I", it is a "1", for one year old.
