Pro-Diva factions have been lobbying for some personnel changes to "Goose the Blog" for several weeks now. I suppose the change was, ultimately, inevitable, due to the well-heeled and highly influential lobbyists employed by the shadowy interests backing Diva. Nonetheless, here's to fighting the good fight. Blog on, Goose, where ever you may be.

It's sad, really - another victory of style over substance. Goose, predictably, had tremendous grassroots support. How could he not? It is a pity that he didn't have the organizational or financial backing necessary to hold on to his position.
On the other hand, I now have an extra hundred bucks to spend on Legos, so it isn't all bad. At least I come out ahead, and that's probably what counts, right?
Maybe the pets should have terms? And a little campaign finance reform wouldn't hurt either. SENEGALESE PARROT IN 2005!
Quincy appreciates the sentiment, but thinks that his low name recognition would severely handicap him compared to the other likely candidates.
