I had a Hitchhiker's Guide Infocom game way back when. This couldn't possibly be the same one?

If you don't remember, Infocom produced text-based computer games that could understand a limited number of syntactic structures ("Put key in lock").

They were very cool at the time... even though they didn't even have any graphics. I think at home I still have a boxed set of the Best of Infocom, including Hitchhiker's... though they might be on 5.25" floppies...

For the nostalgia minded, Wendy also has (had? I hope I didn't throw it out) an Ultima IV, V, and VI box set *with the map!*

I also remembered that you can get Z-machine emulators for PCs, etc, which will allow you to run the old infocom text adventure games (www.zophar.net looks like it might have some, but it is outlawed by my work's filtering software, content: GAMES). This article talks about emulators for the Palm handheld.
