"Oh, ha! Sarcasm: The last refuge of sons of bitches!"

Buckaroo Bonzai

Amy and I just finsihed watching The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension; still a fantastic movie. But What about the sequel? Buckaroo Bonzai Against the World crime League, turns out the script for that became Big trouble in Little China. I think that twenty years later it is time for the sequel to be made. they could have the same cast, only older or hire a new cast. What about Vince Vaughn as Buckaroo, and Owen Wilson as Perfect Tommy?

Sorry I've been quiet on the blog. I've been visiting Wendy's family in LA.

I have the BB DVD. They never did explain the watermelon, but I have read that it was being engineered for emergency food air-drops to famine areas.

I didn't know that "Big Trouble in Little China" was originally "BB Against the World Crime League," but "Big Trouble" has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Something else I should get on DVD, and a much better vehicle for Kurt Russell than "Escape from New York."

"You know what ol' Jack Burton says at a time like this?"
"Who?"
"Jack Burton... ME!"

John, if you check out the DVD extras you can see references to the Boss of the world crime league (as the ones responsible for Peggy Priddy's death) in some deleted materials and the leader of the league is the one responsible for Buckaroos' parents death in the home movie beginning (Jamie Lee Curtis plays his mom).
