When I was in junior high school, I had many of Carlin's famous (and less famous) comedy routines memorized.*
Obviously, he's dead today, or I wouldn't be talking about him.

* By this I mean that I, John, had the routines memorized. I am sure there are millions of thirteen and fourteen year old boys who have memorized Carlin.
